Well, my father picked up this chess set when he was in Thailand around 1962. It has been kept up in a closet and we played it several times when I was younger. At the time, I think, he paid around 100 for it. The box and the interior lining are in very excellent condition. The box is made out of bamboo. The carving is very fine detail.
