Kings and Pawns - Chess Endings

I guess you will enjoy the following Chess Endings with kings and pawns only. Once you grasp the principles you can apply them in your games.

In those endgames it is vital to increase the activity of your king to the utmost and gain space as much as you can. When you can intrude into the position of your opponent you usually will win the game as you can destroy his vulnerable pawns and create a passed pawn. This passed pawn will bring the victory.

Stop your opponent to create a passe pawn if you can and make sure that he can't stop you to create one. Always be aware what is going on as in life itself.
