Robo Chess

Robo Chess is the name of this chess playing robot, invented by the 17 year's old Iranian Student, Ebrahim Jahandar. It can play chess against humans. Unlike other robots this one has a bulletin Chess Game Computer. Other robots must be connected to a Desktop Computer but this one has one AVR 8-Bit micro controller for recognizing the opponent's moves, playing the chess game and controlling the robot.

This robot only requires a power plug and nothing else. Just plug it in and play chess with it! It can also be connected to a battery to make it portable! The robot is very small and light and it cost only 100$!

It was awarded 2nd prize in the Young Kharazmi Festival, which is the most important innovation festival in the Middle East.
