Alexander Alekhine versus Max Euwe 1937

Alexander Alekhine (Russia) regained the world title in a match against Max Euwe 1937
15,5 : 9.5 (10 wins, 11 draws, and 4 losses).

Alekhine gave up drinking and smoking and trained hard to achieve a top physical and mental form and regained the title. He was willing to fight until his last breath. He lost the first game but he was prepared mentally to accept to lose games especially if caused by Euwe's home preparation.

Next day he won and equalized. He finally achieved his "come back" with a good score of + 10 - 4 =11.
