Chess with 32 Ivory chess pieces,
Originating time: end of the fifties / start of the sixties
Country of origin: India / South Asia

All chess pieces are made of formed and carved Ivory.

Complete set of chess pieces. All with rounded base and decorated with chip carved
16 pieces are black painted Ivory.

All pieces are immaculately and faultless preserved
Weight of all Ivory pieces: Approx. 982 g
Measurements Approx:
King 10.2 – 10.5 cm (LARGEST PIECE)
Pawn: 4.1 cm

The set has special wood case lined with silk. In addition is teakwood case with Intarsia, when opened up is a Chessboard.

The set has a CITES Certificate and is authenticated with an expertise.
The beauty of this set is partially disturbed through the minimizing of picture size for fitting purpose.
