Not sure of age, but I understand it was purchased in Japan in the 1950's.Ivory pieces - natural white and stained dark pieces. Each piece is slightly different with very detailed carving. The elastic for holding the pieces in has gone loose. The case / board shows its age. There is a detailed engraved latch and lock mechanism that goes with it.Pieces have some wear and tear, but any small parts and pieces that have broken off come with the set, they have been saved. Please let me know how to go about setting a value for this set? I have seen prices ranging from $250 to $5,000 +.....Thanks for your firstname.lastname@example.org
